Hi, I'm from Germany and can unfortunately almost exclusively train indoors or in "half-open" ranges(no full roof but walls). I've been following standard safety procedures with lead(washing hands after shooting, not eating at the range, dedicated range clothes, only clean weapons with gloves in a dedicated space, etc.). Unfortunately my lead levels have still elevated since training regularly(about once or twice a week.). In the half-open range I can outright taste the lead occasionally. I'm trying to avoid it but a couple competitions take place there.

I'm stupid enough and got enough cases of cancer in my family as is, so I really don't want lead in my system at all.

Since a lot of lead is released into the air by the primer, I've been thinking about getting a mask for shooting. I've tried using a 3m ffp3 mask, however I can barely breathe through it and anything that requires any sort of movement(like ipsc training) gets unbearable pretty fast.

Are there any masks compatible with p3 filters that don't make it impossible to shoulder a rifle?

There are ffp3 masks with vents available, are they easier to breath through and still protect against the lead vapor from primers?

I have tested my water supply at home and work and there are no detectable lead levels, so I'm pretty certain it must be from shooting.

Hi,

I'm looking at getting into infrared photography. I have a spare Canon EOS 550d lying around, however I sold all my canon glass(except for the kit lens) when switching to a sony alpha 6400 as my main camera.
I could get a very used sony alpha 5000 with the included kit lens for 90€, however it has a small crack in the frame. Alternatively I could get a sony nex-5 for 109€+shipping that is in a much better condition.
An almost brand new Sony Nex-C3 is also selling near me for 70€.

Should I keep my EOS 550d, get the alpha 5000, the nex-5, nex-c3 or something entirely different?
Budget is very low at around 100€. I never converted or even had to open a camera before so I want to spend as little as possible in case I break something.
