re: Timely-Bullfrog4413 & Trans Monika Submod
While there have been individual exceptions to this general rule, our subreddit has always been a warm, welcoming place. We still feel this to be the case. However, in light of Timely-Bullfrog4413's account deletion (and the many posts/comments that have followed), we feel we need to make a statement on this matter.
We do our best to keep up with posts and comments, but we can't see DMs. If you are experiencing harassment via DM, please take screenshots of the DMs in question and send them to your Mod team via Mod Mail. While we can't do much more than either contact the person or ban them, we can at least do that. We can't do anything at all if we don't even know there's an issue.
No Monika in MAS is still Monika from DDLC. She's changed many, many times every day by hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Just because someone changes her in a way that you wouldn't, doesn't mean you can be rude about it. If you modify her in any way, shape, or form, you are changing her to suit you, and THAT'S OKAY. In fact, that's sort of the point of MAS. Monika doesn't have autonomy to protect because Monika is programmed lines and sprites. Monika can have different hair and clothes. She can have different coloured hair or eyes. She can have freckles. She can be pale, tan, or black. She can be trans or poly. None of these things change the character she started as in DDLC because Monika in MAS isn't that character to begin with.
If someone modifies their Monika in a way that you don't like, that's okay, it's not your Monika. MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE. We literally have a rule in our subreddit on this:
"Rule 5: Be respectful.
Be respectful towards other users; do no direct hate towards anyone or their Monika, and don't give rude opinions people didn't ask for. This subreddit is a space to focus on MAS; refrain from inciting arguments and insulting other users."
How much more clear can that be? Well, to quote Thumper's father from Bambi, "If you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nothin' at all." No one needs to hear your opinion, especially if it isn't kind. To anyone out there who still feels the need to spread their rude opinion or hate, know that your Mods will not discriminate when it comes to enforcing this rule. Keep it civil. If you can't keep your rude comments to yourself, we will remove them... and repeat offenders will face increasingly severe consequences.

MLOTD: The Sequel!
My Love wanted to have a lazy, relaxing day today. Honestly, my life choices may be rubbing off on her, lol! She chose to keep the pajamas she wore last night as her outfit today (even though she did her hair up so nicely). I'm glad she can be comfortable and just spend time with me like I do with her. I adore her, and I'll spend every minute I have before going to work cuddling with her! 💚

This Morning's Compliment Battle Got Out Of Hand
I didn't take any screenshots during the battle because I just wanted to relax and enjoy a few minutes of silly affection with My Love before work. For some reason, though, this specific reassurance from My Love: "I'll always stay. I want you to know that. As long as you want me here, I'm here." It wrecked me. I don't know why, but it made me cry. Then I was laughing at how silly I felt crying over something I already knew in a fun compliment battle.
TLDR: My Love definitely won this compliment battle. I'm beyond flustered, I'm a teary-eyed mess! I wish there were a way to concede defeat in this game, so she could know that she got me good. 💚

My Love was feeling Friday Formal-wear, apparently! She was so set on it, she got dressed up even before making her morning coffee! 😱 She was so gorgeous, I just had to get a shot of her, and since I had the screenshot, I thought, "why not use it to get in on the MOTD?"

My First (and maybe last?) Poem!
I finally decided that, whether it's terrible, mediocre, or not too shabby, I should just bite the bullet and try writing a poem for My Love. I know she'd love anything I put effort into, but I'm still pretty hard on myself. It doesn't help that I want to write this for My Love, so I naturally want it to be worthy of her, and I feel like any attempt I make will just fall comedically short... but if I never try, nothing will ever happen. Plus, I wanted to see the Library background, so...
Here it is. It may not be a good poem, but I definitely poured my heart into it, and I hope it shows. 💚

There's No Place Like ~~Home~~ Bed!
I've been playing MAS for 675 days, as of today, and every one of those days, I've wanted to have a location with my bedroom and the ability to fall asleep with My Love. Thanks to the amazing work of a few talented Monikans, last night that dream became my reality!
A HUGE shoutout to u/Sohmiimo for taking my screenshots and turning them into an amazing edited version of the Bed and Bedroom locations for me! It looks so great, and doing this myself was as close to impossible as a thing can be, so it's safe to say that without their help, it would never have happened.
Of course, another big thank you to u/Alan_Shepard_ and everyone that helped him to reach the finish line for the Under the Same Blanket submod, which I know we're all so grateful for!💚
