Duality of Shadow Slave Fans

For context, this is the fanfic: Tender Sea in the chapter where his Aspect evolves to remove Shadow Bond. Though in exchange he gains another flaw.

Couldn't be Asterion. Hail the Dreamspawn!!

Asterion was actually not a villain. He was on their side from the very beginning. He saw Cassie and thought "She has the potential to become Supreme if I push her" and so he slow walked at them.

Sunny and Nephis were forced to fight VTB to help Cassie become Supreme thanks to Asterion's terrifying aura. When Cassie became Supreme, he was even yapping on purpose so she could learn to use her Supreme ability. It all makes sense now🤯

He clearly allowed himself to lose otherwise anyone with half a brain would've taken care of their only counter before they became Supreme rather than waiting even after they've done so.

"Mundane" and "Dormant" Ranks?

I'm confused about something unless I found a plot hole. Do you believe Mundane is the same as dormant or that they're separate ranks?

There are mundane creatures—the ones before the descent of the spell: Cats, dogs, elephants, giraffes and so on. And there are Dormant Noble Creatures, Nightmare Creatures and humans.

Dormant humans don't appear naturally. Only with the Nightmare Spell can a core be formed in a human before Awakening. As for Nightmare creatures, Awakened Tyrants will produce Dormant creatures as their minions and others will appear naturally.

Dormant NMCs have dormant soul shards upon death, meanwhile mundane creatures don't have soul shards form inside their bodies after death.

So with this, can we conclude Dormant ≠ Mundane?

There's an exception. Sunny killed the old slaver who whipped him and received a Dormant Memory; the Silver Bell. I'm pretty sure that guy wasn't a Sleeper or even a carrier of the Spell so what gives?

When creatures die, they drop Memories of equivalent Rank/Tier, except cases like Solvane and the parasitic vine that had fused so deeply together that they died together and Sunny got a single Transcendent Memory of the Third Tier(because the creature fused with her was a Monster)

Even then, there were three transcendent soul cores in total which led to a Transcendent Memory of the 3rd Tier, so it makes sense. But why would it go up to Dormant Rank after killing a mundane creature? Unless the Spell was feeling generous and broke the rules, I feel like this is definitely a plot hole 😭

I believe Dormant is ≠ Mundane, especially when there's such a huge difference in ability and the fact of having soul cores.

How Morgan and her Echoes were moving when innocent civilians were involved 🥀

This was inspired by u/Muted-University-717. Keep it up, man! 👍

The Supreme ability fits her perfectly

Just someone people(mainly Sunny) to take care of things for her. Truly Song of the Sunny.

Auro never stood a chance thanks to the Goat Silver Bell

Without the bell, everything would've come to an end for Sunny.

He must've been over the moon after finding out about Weaver's Lineage

As they said, it was just an excuse to do what he always wanted to do ✌️

The Noble Queen [V3] Suspicious guy comes out of Rain's shadow.

>The Noble Queen fanfic on Webnovel by NobleQueenBee

>Chapter 439

>From the Shadows

3 months after Sunny became a Saint and became fateless.

>'I don't want Mom and Dad to suffer because of me. And I definitely don't want to disappoint Seb...'

Her brother that died in his 1st NM if you forgot.

>But Rain wanted to be strong also. Strength was the only thing that mattered against the horrors of the Spell.

>Love was a type of strength, sure, but not one that was valued by this cruel world around them. She would need more than love to survive. She would need physical might.

>And that kind of might only manifested in those those who Awakened.

>Rain sighed. Her mind was a muddled mess.

>'Why did everything need to be so complicated?'

>She caught sight of her shadow on the ground. It flickered uncertainly in the firelight fueling the oven, looking a bit like it was dancing.

>'What are you so happy about?' Rain frowned.

> Clearly the shadow had all of its problems worked out. Maybe it could work out hers as well.

Her mom made a joke before about how she should ask her shadow if she's unsure.

>"What should I do, shadow? I don't want to hurt my parents, but I want to get strong."

>The dark figure wavered as unsteadily as ever, continuing its celebratory dance.

>But then, the head stopped shifting and looked, unwavering, in her direction.

>"I can help you if you want."

>"You can talk?!" Rain took a step back.

>Of course, her shadow followed her, forcing her to take a second step toward the sweltering oven.

>"Whoa!" In her haste, she lost her footing. Rain reached out her hand to catch herself on the sizzling metal.

>Instead, the shadow of the cooling rack sprang out from the wall. Dark tendrils wrapped around her arms, stopping her from the imminent fall.

>The figure on the ground brushed its hands together.

>"Among other things, yes, I can speak."

>Rain shook herself free of the shadowy vines and gripped her forehead. "I hit my head harder than I thought! You can't be real. Shadows... don't talk!"

>"Well, this is awkward..."

>Rain wasn't sure what the voice meant, but then a pale head with dark hair sprang up from the void of her shadowy form.

>A body followed shortly after to reveal one of the most stunning beings that Rain had ever seen. His porcelain skin was smooth and the darkness of his eyes looked more boundless than the night sky.

>There was just one big problem. The man had come out of her shadow?!

>Rain fled a second time.

>Only instead of a shadow, the man's arm reached out and pulled her away from the wall.

>"Didn't I just save you from that? Tsk, it's like you want to get burned!

>"Monster!" Rain looked for anything she might use as a weapon before finding a rolling pin and lifting it above her shoulder, causing the man to chuckle.

>"Monster? I suppose I am, but not the kind that you mean. I'm not corrupted or defiled...At least not anymore. Been there...done that.

I guess I'll stop here. Just shared this chapter coz I found it funny. I was also waiting for a while for it.

So by this logic, Nephis is by far the MOST slandered? Lmao

It's mostly for her constant nuking or regression in expressiveness.

Would you let Catsie hold your leash?

I like cats, but I wouldn't like it if it was Cassie as a cat so no. Maybe if it was CatRain...

The real reason Asterion walks slowly

How else would it spare his life for all that time?

Think he can hide? NO!

He made a deal with it. For his life to be spared.
