Okay I feel like I'm spamming this subreddit but here I am again.

I know I should probably not think too much about this, but I am stuck on what to do.

I have rushed through the main quest and long story short, ended up in the swamp. I had barely explored the old woods by that point and once I found out there was no turning back, I decided to just start a new run. I also have other interests for doing so.

I would like to get the best outcome possible for everyone in this run, especially the musician. And the 'best' ending. I feel like it's easy to mess up so I'm asking for guidance regarding the requirements I must fulfill for that to happen. Tell me every choice I must make and what to choose regarding everything major, if anyone knows. (Chicken lady key, sow, doctor, big ass tree...everything that matters)

I checked out some guides, and maybe I'm just dumb, but the way they are written is very confusing to me in regards of what events tie in together depending on major choices.

I know this must be a question often asked, and I did look at a similar thread but it was a bit older. I'll delete this after I get some advice. So yeah, when should I move to the old woods hideout? I literally cleared and looted the whole two previous forest areas like a hoarder. I upgraded my working bench to as much as I currently can. I have molotovs, a shotgun, single shot shotgun, pistol, gas bottles and a fork as a melee. I want the axe but I need to upgrade my workbench for it which I cannot do currently.

I'm also mainly asking this because I read pretty much only bad stuff about the old woods and apparently the nights are hellish there? Should I just stay in the silent woods for now? Tho the distance seems bothersome.
