I just got my SE. The seat bottoms out to the point of pain
I wanna start by saying that everything about this chair from the waist up is absolutely perfect.
Before the Omni SE, I used a $100 gaming chair that felt like a rigid shell I always have to fight with.
The Omni supports me in ways I didn't even think possible, it's fantastic.
However, the seat is SO BAD. The foam is very thin and very soft and my butt starts hurting from sitting after 10 minutes.
I always try to sit as far back as possible, so I should be sitting in the deepest part of the seat, and yet it still bottoms out.
The bottom also has a "bone" in the middle of it! Instead of it being a flat surface, there is a tubular raise in the middle, kind of like a road speed bump. This only makes things worse.
Because of the size of my apartment I had to throw away the packaging immediately, so I can't return the chair to size up to the Maxis.
I read some threads that the issue might be QA, and if it is, I hope Libernovo offers us the option of a seat replacement.
Alternatively, I'll wait for the Maxis replacement parts to arrive and I'll investigate whether I can fit a maxis seat on the omni.
