I saw in the annual reports that 32 students were given admission in the mstat program in 2024-25
In that apparently 10 were sc st ews and obc. That would mean 22 were from general category, but in the prospectus it is given that there are only 13 general seats . How does that work?
Is supremum classes worth buying ?? Anyone here who has bought the course with some success??

I’ve heard you can only sit for industry internships if the company is sure that you won’t quit early or go for a phd .
What if you already want to do a phd, are you not allowed to sit in these internships??
Or do you have to go for different research internships to strengthen your research profile??
Is this even possible , I’m from an engineering background, I saw this video where this guy from a civil engineering background asks some doubt and the guy says it’s impossible to clear it without coaching .
Can it not be done without coaching?? I don’t know if I should try for it even thought I really want to.

I have graduated as an engineer and tbh I’m kinda disillusioned with CS, I’d love to do mstat at isi, but I’m not sure if I’m made for it since everyone who does mstat already has a math or a stats background

The pca cutoff is around 60 always , what can be the pcb cutoff?? Any seniors or someone who knows please enlighten
According to the number of seats there are for MTech ca through gate channel there are only 15
But there are well over 20 in the merit list

A place in the merit list does not necessarily mean that the candidate has satisfied, the eligibility criteria of the respective program has mentioned in in the prospectus. Eligibility criteria will be verified for the provisionally admitted candidates only at the time of final admission. If the candidate does not have the required eligibility, the provisional admission will be cancelled.
Anyone who is a student currently , or has graduated or who may write the exam??
