It's something that's been bugging me for a while that I want to discuss. The first big question is if gods can get pregnant. I don't know if that's been explained in the books. What troubled me more though is how Apollo's canon yaoi children were born. Do you think mpreg is real in PJO universe? How do godesses get women pregnant?

I've been rewatching the series lately and watching episode 14 it strikes me as overly dramatised how lady Lishu reacts to receiving sex ed from Mao Mao. I'm sorry to ask such a sensitive question but didn't the late emperor abuse his underage concubines?? I don't know if her saying something along the lines of "I will never" is a mistranslation since she already has 5 years ago?
I'm curious if somebody else paused at that and if there's like a secret club where people are in sweet denial that I should join.
And while I'm on the topic of Lishu, it's just really hard for me to believe she's supposed to be 14. I mean, Mao Mao is only 3 years older than her and Lishu looks 8 in comparison. Why play up child-like behaviour and looks if you're gonna imply she got her innocence stolen at 9 years old in every episode? Or do they remind you she's a minor to make sure you never forget the late emperor was disgusting? In that case why not remind everyone that Mao Mao herself is a child and gets sold off as a courtesan to a man they all believe to be in his mid 20s? Why act like "Jinshi" trying to hit is just cute children's play?
