Love that Walmart gives us the option to buy an “all in one” version instead of Season 1 Part 1,Part 2. Looking forward to the next one they put out.
Maomao solo is from Nekostudios.
Jinshi/Maomao is from Nomnom figures.
i just finished yona of the dawn and i absolutely loved it! i loved the expressive reactions and how cute the group dynamic was + the comedy. the romantic tension between hak and yona was everything! it doesn’t haveee to be historical, but i love a addictive plot (action, fantasy, mystery) with lovable characters.
another favorite of mine is naruto + naruto shippuden.
So, first of all, I feel extremely dirty using Twitter buzzwords in my post, but it is what it is. If you're reading this, they got your attention.
With that being settled, I want to reset the focus of this post on to Lihaku. He's just such a good guy. He doesn't care one iota about the fact that the woman he loves is a sex worker. In fact, the fact that she has such a high sex drive is a plus for him. Dude's an absolute chad, and I want nothing but the best for him and Pairin.
EDIT: I meant "stan" not "stand". Forgive me. I've had rather much to drink.
You can hate me for what I'm about to say, but as a woman with average looks, it was very important for me to have a character who looks average and gets what she wants through her exceptional charisma and intelligence in solo. However, MaoMao's unattractive features include freckles that she painted herself and the absence of breasts, which is not a significant drawback as it serves as an important beauty standard primarily for the emperor. She's incredibly beautiful and all that, but there are too many heroines like her who hide behind a mask of unkemptness, and there are damn few heroines with ugly/ordinary faces. Yes, it's a shame. The monologue is an interesting piece of writing, I won't argue with that, but it's an unpleasant detail for me. Anyone who feels the same? (sorry, english is not my native language)
New official art of Jinshi and Gaoshun in the rain.
I love Gaoshun taking care of Jinshi. I love his loyalty and devotion to Jinshi. Not just because Jinshi is of high status, but because Jinshi is also his son.
And Jinshi looks so ethereal here.
So I was rewatching apothecary diaries and this scene got my attention, when Lakan talked about the ritual utensil and the younger one being more talented, was he nodding to Jinshi's real identity?
Get a first look at Maomao (Voice: Aoi Yuki) and Jinshi (Voice: Takeo Otsuka) in the latest preview!
All I wanna know! I just like to get opinions from people who have seen both if possible.
When the people around Jinshi say, “You never get attached to your toys” that’s a LIE! We see that he does get attached to his toys, and it’s just that they always took them away when he started to get attached. They always gave him a new one so that wouldn’t happen, but it backfired horribly! The difference is that MaoMao isn’t going anywhere, so technically, they can’t give him a new “toy” to “play” with. I don’t know if this has been said before, but I just joined the group to type this out. Thanks for reading and replying if you do. 🫶🏾❤️
Am I the only one who noticed that the story tried to polish Lihua's image in the second season by elevating her status? I mean, we learned in the second season that she's related to the Emperor, and many fans accepted that, but I didn't because of the way she was presented in the first season as a nobel women and it's mentioned in the first episode of the first season, not in the middle of the story, but at the beginning, where she is presented as merely a concubine from a noble family Making so makes her story of related to the emperor unccepteble in the first volume ،unacceptable because how can she fear for her position when it's guaranteed? The emperor's relatives don't fall while he's around And the biggest proof is that the first episode said that Jin-shi was the one who supported lihua . If she was emperor relative, why would Jin-shi need that? This means that The biggest proof is that the first episode said that Jin-shi was the one who raised her. If she was his relative, why would Jin-shi need that? This means that the writer wanted to inflate Lihua's ego and make her look luxurious.
I'm on my third rewatch of Apothecary Diaries, and after trying to understand the family tree for the 100th time, I decided to make one for practice. Hopefully this is simpler than some of those out here. Tried to include their job titles and their relationships vibe.
