Need advice from fitness people: Should I go back to the gym with ~100 days left for CLAT?

I’m looking for some genuine advice from people who actually know their stuff about fitness and balancing training with academics.

For some background, I’ve been training consistently for around 1.5 years, but I stopped going to the gym around June because I wanted to focus completely on CLAT preparation. I resumed my preparation around early/mid-July, and now with roughly 100 days left, I’m starting to wonder whether quitting the gym was actually the right decision.

I’ve noticed that I feel pretty deteriorated physically. My sleep hasn’t been great, I have pretty bad dark circles, and generally I don’t feel as healthy or energetic as I used to.

So I’m considering joining the gym again, but I obviously don’t want it to interfere with CLAT preparation.

My current idea is something like:

Monday — Gym
Tuesday — Mock
Wednesday — Gym
Thursday — Mock
Friday — Gym
Saturday/Sunday — depending on workload/recovery

I’m also considering alternating walking days with gym days, so I still get some light cardio without making my schedule too hectic.

For people who have experience balancing serious exam preparation with training:

Would you recommend going back to the gym for these last ~100 days?

Would 3 days of lifting per week be enough to maintain/improve my fitness without taking too much time or recovery away from studying?

Also, I’ve been thinking about waking up around 4 AM so I can get more study hours in. If I manage to sleep early and consistently get enough sleep, is that fine, or is the 4 AM schedule unnecessary and potentially counterproductive?

Basically, I’m trying to find the sweet spot where I can stay physically healthy and mentally sharp without letting fitness become an excuse to procrastinate from CLAT.

Would really appreciate advice from people who have actually dealt with this kind of situation.

One Last Ride to December.

I was playing rdr2 ( after a very long time) after my study session ended and i able to reflect some things in my life and this Clat fiasco.

^(Just to be clear, this is a rant/vent about my CLAT journey( mods don't remove this post)

I've been at this for years.

And honestly, I'm tired.

I've watched people around me move on with their careers, college, relationships, everything. Meanwhile, I've spent years coming back to the same exam, trying to convince myself that this time I'm going to do it.

This is my final attempt at CLAT.

And that's probably why everything feels so heavy right now.

It's not even just about the exam anymore. It's the feeling that I've already spent so much time on this that I need it to work. There's so much riding on December 6th that sometimes studying doesn't even feel like studying anymore. It feels like I'm trying to prove that the last few years weren't completely wasted.

I've had some genuinely horrible mocks. I've had moments where I thought I was finally improving, and then the next mock humbled me straight back to earth.

I've had days where I studied properly, and days where I procrastinated for hours knowing damn well what I was supposed to be doing.

I've watched my scores fluctuate so much that sometimes I don't even know whether I'm actually improving or just getting lucky on certain papers.

And the worst part is comparing myself to other people.

You see someone your age already in college, getting internships, building their career, figuring their life out, and you're sitting there doing another fucking CLAT mock.

It gets to you.

I've also spent the last few years being completely confused about what I actually wanted from life. I went through a pretty nihilistic phase and honestly don't even know whether nihilism is the right word for it. I was just lost.

This year, I've also started finding my way toward Christianity and Christ, which has given me something I didn't really have before. But I'm still figuring that out too.

So now I'm basically trying to do two things at once:

Fix my academic life and figure out my life itself.

And yeah, I'm still inconsistent. I procrastinate. I lose focus. Sometimes my prayer life is inconsistent too. Sometimes I feel like I'm finally getting my shit together, and sometimes I feel like I'm back at square one.

But I'm still here.

That's probably the one thing I can say.

I'm still studying.

I'm still giving mocks.

I'm still trying to improve.

I'm still showing up.

I don't know what December is going to look like.

I don't know if I'll get the rank I want.

I don't know if all these years are going to finally amount to something.

But I'm going to give this final attempt everything I have.

Maybe that's all I can do.

Arthur sitting there somehow made me realize that sometimes you're not really mourning the exam itself. You're mourning the time you've already lost.

And I'm trying to stop doing that.

I can't get those years back.

I can only decide what I do with the months I have left.

So yeah.

One last run.

Let's see where it takes me

As Arthur Morgan says-

(Take a gamble that love exists, and do a loving act.)

I GOT THE CHANCE TO PLAY THIS AFTER 8 YEARS OF ITS RELEASE

I'm not asking anything, and this isn't really a discussion. I just needed somewhere to get this out.

I already knew the biggest spoiler before I even started playing. I knew Arthur was going to die. Hell, I even know what eventually happens to John Marston. So I genuinely thought I'd be immune to all the emotions.

I wasn't.

I played the game slowly, one chapter at a time. I got the High Honor ending where Arthur helps John. I knew exactly what was coming, but somehow that made absolutely no difference. I just can't stop thinking about Arthur Morgan. Now

The music keeps playing in my head. That final ride. The conversations. The scenery. Everything just keeps looping in my mind. It's honestly weird because I'm sitting here feeling like I've lost someone who never even existed. I've finished movies, TV shows, and games before. I've been sad before. But this... this feels different. It's like I'm actually grieving.

Maybe that's the difference between reading spoilers and actually experiencing the journey yourself. I don't even know why I'm posting this. I just wanted to get it off my chest because none of my friends have played RDR2, and I figured the only people who'd understand are the people here.

If you've been through this too... tell me I'm not the only one. Because right now, I genuinely feel empty after finishing this masterpiece.

HELP

I've already made notes from CLAT Post, but recently I started using CLAT Express and, honestly, it just feels much more convenient to study and revise from.

Now I'm confused about what to do.

Should I remake all my notes using CLAT Express, or should I just continue with the notes I've already made from CLAT Post and use CLAT Express only for the upcoming topics?

I'm worried that if I restart, I'll waste a lot of time. But at the same time, I keep thinking it'll be better to have everything in one format.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What would you recommend?

Is the new CLAT Post 2027 format actually better, or CLAT EXPRESS just giving the illusion of efficiency?

I've been comparing the new CLAT Post 2027 format with CLAT Express, and I'm a bit confused about which approach is actually better.

The new format has much fewer topics and ranks them using 5⭐, 4⭐, and 3⭐ based on importance. On paper, it looks great because it makes revision much easier and feels less overwhelming. But at the same time, I'm wondering if fewer topics also means there's a greater chance of missing important current affairs. CLAT has always been a bit unpredictable, so I'm not sure if cutting down the number of topics is the right strategy.

Is this star-rating system based on actual CLAT trends and analysis, or is it mainly an editorial decision? Has anyone compared the topics in CLAT Post with CLAT Express and checked how much content is actually being left out? I'm not trying to criticize the format. I genuinely want to understand whether it's a smarter way to prepare or if it's better to stick with a more comprehensive source like CLAT Express.
