Hello! I’ve recently upgraded my monitor with gpu and want to replace my “old” Ryzen 5 5600. Don’t get me wrong, I like the performance it has but I want to get more fps in apex and I’m not too sure what option to go for. If it wasn’t for ai boom I’d probably would’ve went for am5 but I don’t want to wait for that long for prices to go down as well as performance that I would get probably would be fine with am4 for a while. So I’m kinda stuck between those two options. Do note, that 5500x3d is solid 40% more expensive and I’m not too sure about the rest of my build. Some other specs that really matter is: I have 4070 super, my mobo is ASUS Prime b450m-k ii and I have 16 gigs of ram, 2 sticks 3133 mhz. I also think my current cpu cooler can handle heat of both of them so I probably won’t replace it, I’m just uncertain of what to choose because people seem to say that they have pretty similar performance. Any help would be appreciated 🙏
