I have nobody else to talk to about this irl, so I wanted to share it here :) this song by a band called Imminence came out a few days ago, and the overall sound, and lyrics especially made me think of those two😭
So my bird has been experiencing some weird symptoms for the past few weeks. About three weeks ago he became sick with diarrhea and was overall very exhausted and lethargic. We immediately gave him antibiotics and he has quickly recovered, he eats normally now and his poop is ok. However, he has had slight breathing problems since then. Immediately after flying(for maybe a minute or less after)his breathing is heavier and faster than usual and there is some tail bobbing happening. He also sometimes starts swaying and wobbling after flying as if he is dizzy. His breathing is normal aside from that. He sneezes sometimes but there is nothing coming out of the nose. At first I thought he was just tired from being sick and needed time to recover, but he doesn't seem to be getting better. He is quite old, almost 17 years.
We are taking him to the vet as soon as possible, but we don't have many avian vets in my country and majority of them know very little so I'm afraid he won't get propper treatment.
I would appreciate any advice or help
