I enjoy using budget\old gear more than newer

Whenever I'm out and about with camera I am more relaxed when I'm using older\cheaper gear. I feel like using more advanced gear creates more pressure on resulting photos to be "better". So I don't shoot anything and often try to capture "only keepers". That way I end up with less variety of photos, less experimenting, trying another composition, angle, etc.

But with "expendable", old, budget gear I try what it is capable of. I test it's limits. I don't worry that much about it getting scratched. Photos are smaller (take less space) so I don't worry about having more similar shots. Also I tend to carry it around more so I use it more often. Bonus points are that cheap gear usually is smaller\lighter so it's easier to have on me.

How much I'm weird? 😄 What's your "thing"?

Trippy EVF effect

I've been taking photos of my camera to sell it (Lumix G1). After taking the phptos of outside, I put my phone (Pixel 6A) tp tve EVF to take picture of inside. That's where the fun stuff happenned. While I had my phone there, I changed the setting to take a live photo so the effect was more enjoyable. However, right after taking the photo it went normal again (second photo).

EVF is working normally the whole time. This model (globally, not just my piece) suffered from "rainbow effect". When I move my eyes quick while looking through EVF I got some "colour ghosting" but nothing like this.

What is going on? I'm not worried that something is broken, but it looks fun 🙂

Sunglasses ND filters and Polarized

Not sure if MEME\satire is correct flair. I believe they are not the first ones with similar idea. Apart of adjusting each eye brightness separately it should be also polarized (reviews stating it's weird, I imagine they dont match polarization of both lenses). Have you ever had similar sunglasses? Mine just died so I'm in market and these seems... interesting.

Google Pixel 1

My daily is Pixel 6A and it is still holding strong (battery replaced after Google refund thing). But when I saw this one for 30€, I couldn't resist. Very good shape, Android 10 in stock. Surprising to me was how small and light it feels even compared to my 6A.
