Winter tires needed? Disable One Pedal in the snow?

Have had my truck for a few months (2024 Flash,) but looking ahead, I'm wondering if needing winter/snow tires should be on my radar. I live in WNY, just on the northern fringes of the lake effect belt, so we get snow, but not the snow you see on the news unless it's a normal storm.

I never put snow tires on my ICE trucks, I'd either sandbag the rear axle or throw it in 4WD.

I'm curious if winter tires are recommended for the Lightning or if the weight is enough to make them unnecessary. If they are, any recommendations?

Also curious if one pedal drive is different in the snow. My head-canon says the abrupt deceleration can cause loss of control, but again, the weight comes to mind.

Thanks for any insight/feedback.

Is there an issue with setting "Departure Times" in the Ford App?

This is at least the third time in the last few weeks that my truck has started charging and preparing the cabin at least 90 minutes prior to my expected departure after work (living that 3rd shift life...)

I've had the truck for almost 3 months and didn't have this issue until the last few weeks. I have my departure times set for 0620 on the mornings I'd be leaving work. All of the times it's "prepared" my cabin early, it's been around 0420/0430.

Is it possible it's trying to prepare it almost 2 hours before for a reason I'm not thinking of? All the other times it starts around 0550ish (half hour before.)
