FS: Vintage JBL C37 Rhodes System 001 Speaker

Hello,

Lack of space requires that I pass along my beautiful JBL C37s. Hopefully somebody can enjoy these as I have for the past 20 years.

$2,000 for sale in Los Angeles. Any interest feel free to contact me directly. I have a ton of pictures including internals I took when I did a cosmetic restoration in preparation of selling.

Some highlights:

130A Low Frequency Woofers (serial numbers: 20166 / 20167)
Model 175 High Frequency Drivers (serial numbers: 12765 / 12766)
1217-1219 Horn Tubes (serial numbers: 10737 / 10740)
N1200 Crossover (serial numbers 10565 / 10566)

They sound great and look fantastic, it’s just too much speaker for me at this stage of my life.

MLV vs 1/4” Sheetrock

I have room to add one more layer on a booth build wall and I’m deciding between adding one more layer of 1/4” drywall vs. covering with MLV before adding mineral tile.

I’m considering these two options because I don’t have much room before the treatment will extend out further than the window frame, which I want to avoid.

Any input, or even a better alternative to these two options?

The wall is double studded with an air gap but I’m trying to get as much isolation as I can.
