Basically,, Buck was a hunter for a little while in his twenties before leaving the Winchesters with little explanation, and now ten years later his connection to them is about to bite him in the ass and Eddie is asking a Lot of questions about why Buck used to be buddies (lol) with two of the FBIs most wanted. lol, lmao.

I rly kinda wish this show had touched on sams faith a bit more past like seasons 4/5, because im rewatching season 2 rn and holy hell its insane that they really made an episode all about sams belief in a higher power of something pure and good which makes him more likely to believe when presented with the idea of angels being real and on earth, directly followed by fuxking born under a bad sign, holy shit.

I mean, i feel like we got pretty close with the "im not clean" monologue in the metatron ep in season 9, and obvi the season 11 conflict with the chuck reveal was a lot, but I feel like they never touched on anything so interesting surrounding faith,,, bc everything was basically considered "lore" at a certain point, which kills the actual religious part of it all ig??

idk, I feel like they could've still given him an interesting relationship with faith, or at the very least expanded on his previous faith in childhood or at Stanford

I've not really seen anyone talk about this, but I desperately want some more indepth looks into Dean's relationship with fire, because I just find it so tragic and interesting how intrinsically fire is tied into his daily life. I mean, from a very early age Dean's association to fire must be entirely tied to Mary's death and the loss of his home and the life he had before that night, and then for the rest of his childhood he is taught that the best way to 'fix' things when a ghost goes boo is to burn anything it may be attached to (often a body).

like, its both tied to nothing but traumatic events and ideas (Mary burning, Jess burning) but also used so so often through the span of his life because its part of the job (which, frankly Had to be somewhat traumatic - having a hand in burning random bodies, both fresh and old, probably since he was a little kid), idk I just cant imagine Dean Wouldn't have a complicated relationship with fire one way or another?

idk im failing to fully put this into words I think, but I do think this is worth discussing haha
