My secondhand Mayari’s started falling apart, so I did some rearranging before gluing them back together. I think I’ll name this style Manila (am Filipino, we love our thong sandals lmao)

I wear M10-10.5 in Vans and all trainers. I wear (pictured) regular width Birkenstock 40 soles on my Temara as well as my Mayari pairs. 41 regular on my Arizona I so I can also wear them with socks 🧦
I see a lot of people posting here asking about if their shoe is the right size, and honestly I get the confusion because according to the birks website the shoes pictured would be for someone that wears Men’s 7-7.5 shoes???
My very first pair of birks from 5 years ago was sized by an employee at the shoe store and he sold me a 43 regular (which is what the Birkenstock website would say to do too) which felt like clown shoes but I went with it because I thought that’s how they should feel.
Idk. I like mine to not feel like they could fall off on accident but that might just be me. I’ve never gotten blisters or cuts from breaking in a new pair this “small” either. What’s y’all’s sizing experience like?
