37[M4F]- Ohio/USA/Global- Starting a new phase, come along?

Hello!

Regardless of intention, starting a reddit account in hopes of finding someone tracks as a little dire, doesn't it? I'm in a new place over the past year, however, and want to find something that is not only tangible but delicate and soothing to the touch.

I'm 37, grew up in Ohio (my current location) and have spent the past fifteen years in fifty or sixty countries and all fifty states. I've had one backpack and my guitar, one-way tickets, and thoughts of the unknown for most of it.

I've been a semi-professional musician at times, I've published one novel. There's more to come but in lieu of inspiration I am presently stuck in the sludge of the Midwest! I'm finishing grad school right now in hopes of finding an asynchronous remote job to remove the hassle of bad employers, work visas (etc) that I've always had to navigate.

I'm looking for long-term. I don't have and absolutely do not want children (for many reasons, personal and political). I've never been married. There have been women of course but I'm unsure that I've ever truly been in love. Maybe once, a doubt even when typing this probably tells me the truth in that capacity.

I enjoy natural beauty, not masks. I'm genuine and expect the same. I don't play the power game, I want equality and respect on every level. I think that we label ourselves too much and this is restrictive, we are beings making choices constantly and don't need to be recognized for this. We make the best decision we can (at the time) with the information we had in that moment, the bigger issue is whether or not you have the ability to grow afterward. The past is gone, the present is now. Tomorrow isn't promised, so be here with me. In it. Age? I don't even think about it.

Location goes back and forth. I spent four years in Australia and wanted to live my life there. For the right person, I would. In saying that, for the right person I would live anywhere. I back myself and can make it work, I always have. Being home in the USA is comforting in some ways, and only confirmation of why I left in the first place in others.

I spend a lot of time riding motorcycles, writing, reading, and exploring. I cook most meals as I can do better than restaurants... I'm a pretty quiet and contemplative person, I don't need a big circle or constant activity to fill my time.

I most definitely forgot something, and other questions may have been aroused within! That's the point of sending me a chat:)

Anyway, looking forward to speaking with... you...
