Outward is my new favourite game!

Hey so I normally play competitive games then my mate who plays rpg got me into Valheim but I normally play ps5 cause I hate sitting on my chair playing games.

So I ended up looking for games like Valheim and this game came up. Definitely not the same but similar in some aspects. Man this game got me by the balls.

I have put 50 hours in 3 weeks. I don’t normally play this much. My gf is starting to get angry at me for playing this game idc cause I never do this. At first it was shit soo hard now early game is a breeze. I’m actually 2 or 3v1 and coming out ontop with minimal damage working out what skill trees are good.

Haven’t really googled stuff except for recipes or if I want to do something but literally can’t do it. Idk why i didn’t play this game earlier was never really into rpgs, would play them for like a few hours of fun then get really bored but man such a great game. I know I got soo much to do and outward 2 comes out on pc this year fuck I feel soo lucky.

To people who haven’t played this game, get it. It’s literally the best game I have ever played. The only 3 other games that game me this feeling was jak, minecraft and counter strike.

So I played this game for the first time yesterday, I tried to get the silver to do it and I went out an died 3 times as I got stuck in a cave that I couldn’t get out. Ended up being like day 8 so I missed th 150 silver now it costs 300 which is alright I’ll get it later.

Then it said I had to do pick a faction so me with no armour and a wooden sword went to berg. Ended up crafting a fang sword and got into the family. I had a quest to save rienna and was like yeah finally some combat let’s do this. Walk into the room 2 people fight even with a shield instant death. Was like na this can’t be right. I was like I must be soo under armoured so I went back to the starting zone and did the side quests there, made some sand crab armour. Now I’m having soo much fun exploring the starting zone I’m like will I get punished for not doing the quest? It’s been like 25 days in game and I’m not sure if there’s time limit. I know when she gave me the quest I had 3 days to turn up to it. Does anyone know without giving me spoilers? I’m trying to avoid googling to avoid spoilers. Just want to figure out what happens if I take too long to complete it?
