Hi guys! I've been developing a whole world from zero and wanted to create a race that's basically ravens or crows that developed enough to be considered a rational race but I've been stuck to them looking like human crows or just not looking like crows anymore. Can someone give me tips on their appearance and development?

I think it might be important that during their development a huge war between too strong beings was occurring, so the world had some glacial ambience that quickly could change to hell like before the temperature settled to medium temperature.
