Miles Davis - miles ahead

imo this record/album doesn't get mention enough often overshadowed by milestones, E.S.P, Miles smiles, or birth of the cool. Out of the many miles Davis fans l've talked too this one seemed to be mentioned the least ( although imo) it's an amazing record. And if you're a fan of one song bleeding right into the next than this album is insanely perfect. I love how each song bleeds right into the next to make this very seamless effect. I'm not saying this is his best obviously or my favorite .. though it's
definitely top 10 imo. but once again I will reiterate myself in saying this was actually my introduction to miles Davis so in a way it holds a very special place to me.

Anyways yea Imo this one doesn't get mentioned enough and it is definitely an amazing miles Davis album with the brilliance of Gil Evan's if you're looking to get into miles and want to stray away from the funkier stuff he did in the 70's and look to more of his "jazzy" stuff.. l'd definitely look into this one and also some of the titles i referenced above like "miles smiles", "miles stones" or
"birth of the cool"

Weed + other herbs

I just vape weed from my pen which I am satisfied with, although I was wondering if there was any herbs that may compliment my love for the green grass. I ended up getting a small glass pipe and some dried lemon balm leaves, dried passion flower, & dried chamomile.
It hasn’t come yet and I have never really smoke anything for Marijuana and nicotine. What should I expect, obviously it’s not gonna hit like weed so .. has anyone smoke this before.. what does it hit / feel like ?

Mary Jane + other herbs

I’ve never tried herbs before.. honestly most of my life I was pretty stigmatized on Mary Jane until I gave it a good ole try myself.. I’m now opening my mind once again and doing as much research as I can to find alternatives ( not that I wanna quit Mary Jane ) but maybe smoke a bit less and find other herbs that I can smoke ( I guess if I have to make into a tea although I would prefer to smoke them ) that pair well with Mary Jane.. herbs that give a very relaxing almost sedative effect that could potentially pair well with Mary Jane.. to the research I’ve done I think that
Passion flower, lemon balm, skullcap, chamomile, & mullein pair well with Mary Jane ( although this not in my personal experience but just from online research I’ve conducted ) that is also why I’m coming to this sub to specifically ask .. am I wrong.. is there other herbs that better suit & compliment the profile of Mary Jane. I’m looking into smoking herbs but not sure which ones to pick up, generally like I said above I just want something that will relax me, anti anxiety, etc.

Every record here is at least a 8-9 outta 10 if not a 10/10 album / record , with my favorites being especially Jiro inagaki “in the groove” and “head rock” as well as miles Davis “on the corner” & herbie Hancock’s “sextant” .. still I’m a sucker for that classic modal, bebop, post bop, avant garde / free jazz etc found on “city gates” “the fox” or another one of my favorites “live at slugs” by McCoy Tyner & Joe Henderson.

( regardless this is just a post I wanted to make regarding some albums & records I believe to be truly amazing. )
