Landlord replaced our Wall AC unit with a smaller one, now it's warmer in the bedroom. What can I do with my windows to reduce heat coming into the room?
I live in Florida. It's hot as shit and it's not even summer yet. We had mold in our AC unit and finally got our landlord to replace it, and they replaced it with a smaller unit for some fucking reason. Now the room is noticeably warmer. There is no chance we're getting them to swap it out for a larger unit.
There are three windows in this room. We already have Walmart blackout curtains on all 3. Is there anything additional I can do to keep heat from coming through these windows? Some kind of reflective/tinted film that I can put over them? I do not care if we can see out of them, I just want to stop sweating in my own bedroom.
