Is anyone aware of the VFS Global temporary shut down? I’m in need of the Police Clearance Check and they can’t help with the shut down. I was asked to check with the High Commission in Canberra but they are not very sure either.

I need it for my visa application due in three week. DHA say it is okay to upload the evidence of applying for the check. I’m happy to upload the evidence but how will this affect my visa outcome or processing time?

I have submitted an application on the Passport Seva for Embassies and Consulates.

Does anyone how to proceed or any advise?

I was invited via Canberra matrix to submit the 491 nomination application. I had just submitted the application and paid the fee. Disappointingly, most of the data I had filled in for Summary of working hours document got erased in the final copy when I quickly checked my saved files.

I have however uploaded all my bank statements and payslips. I have also emailed the ACT migration team if they can help.

I’m so disappointed and annoyed at myself. Has anyone faced this before, if yes what happens next?

I really hope they give me time to correct it!
