I’ve recently resigned and have a few weeks off before I jump into whatever’s next. I have been so drained from my mind numbingly meaningless job that I’ve decided , I’d like to use this time to actually do something useful for the city.
I’m open to different kinds of volunteering, mainly where I can give my time and be hands-on. A few things I’ve been thinking about:
Lake clean-up drives
Animal shelters
Women’s shelters
Orphanages
Anything community-focused, really
If you’ve volunteered somewhere in Bangalore and had a good experience, I’d love to hear about it. Specific orgs, groups, or even WhatsApp/Instagram communities I can reach out to would help a lot.
Also open to one-time drives or short-term commitments, since I’ve only got a few weeks.
