The Tokyo skyline seen when The Bride lands is a miniature set.

The production repurposed miniature sets originally built for the 2001 Godzilla film Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack to double as Tokyo.

This decision was made to evoke the aesthetic of giant monster movies, a homage arranged by production coordinator Shinji Higuchi, who had worked on both films.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles hit me harder than I expected. Great film.

I had never seen this movie somehow, just finished it. I was expecting just pure silly slapstick but did not foresee the emotional climax of the film. John Candy really stood out and showed some true acting chops in this one. Him and Steve Martin played off each other so well. Many many quotable moments in this one. I can definitely foresee this becoming a thanksgiving tradition watch for me.

What do you guys think? Does it hold up for you? I have only just seen it so I can say with zero nostalgia goggles that I believe it’s truly worth a watch.

Hopefully this makes sense. You can see in the Spider-Man card that the other sleeve brand I have is too loose, and even the official PSA branded ones I bought from Cardboard Gold are too loose for this. Whatever brand the person I bought from used for the Spider-Man card fits much better but is still loose in the back.

I want to protect the edges without having to take off the sleeve and risk scratches and damage. So if anyone has found a brand on Amazon or eBay that fits perfectly for these things, please let me know!

Thanks in advance!
