Is there a way to block touch reaction from the center screen so I can clean it?

I have not installed a charger yet at my house (summer project) so I’ve been using a nearby Tesla Supercharger (it’s a newer one that has the long cord luckily). I just went to charge this morning before running some errands so admittedly, I did not precondition. When I plugged in it was gonna take a much longer time than I’m used to for charging(20-25kW). I assume because of the lack of preconditioning. However, I started charging, waited about 20 minutes, unplugged/stopped charging and restarted and then got what I’m used to normal charging speed (150+kW).

So my question is, why doesn’t it “update” speed once a conditioning level is hit? Is this a Buzz software thing or a supercharger thing? Or both? Is what I did bad for the battery? This is my first EV so I’m still learning all the things…
