I'll be on the ground in a couple of hours. My wife wants to hit up some rooftops today, but I told her it's way too hot for that and we need to pivot to a new plan. She's convinced we've been to places with plenty of shade and cooling fans, but I have no idea which spots she's thinking of.
Any suggestions for a rooftop where we won't melt?
(And let's be honest...it's too damn hot to be sitting on a roof today, right?!?)
Can you share what you'd consider to be a perfect day in East if you're starting out at 11am on a weekday and are on foot?
Do you have your meal while there's a show going on or do you eat and then take in a performance afterward? Maybe I'm not at all understanding what the concept is...? It sounds intriguing.
Help me out here. I don't understand the people who book a hotel or Airbnb first and then immediately jump on here asking, “Is this area safe?”
Wouldn’t that be one of the questions you ask before booking instead of afterward?
Same goes for the people who book a trip to a city and then ask “What should we do while we’re there?”
You already committed money, time, flights, lodging, PTO, etc. and now you’re figuring out whether there’s anything you actually want to do?
The reverse order feels insane to me but then again maybe I'm the one who has it all wrong.
