accidentally ate meat for the first time

title is self explanatory 🙁 i just started eating an omlette from a hotel breakfast and 3 bites in realized there was ham in it, and i had already swallowed some. i've only been vegetarian for about 6 months and i guess this is something that happens to people sooner or later, but i'm so irritated that 1) NO ONE SAID IT HAD MEAT IN IT and 2) that i didn't even think to inspect it before. i'm on a trip rn so i'm hoping i don't get sick, i'm already feeling kind of nauseous but that could just be me psyching myself out

do these frames fit my face okay??

i bought them second hand and it's hard for me to decide with the prescription in them 🙈 trying to decide if it's worth paying to put my prescription in them. not sure if i like the flat sides or not, i think they look slightly too small on the sides but might be overthinking it. any input welcome 🙏🙏

sheet music for paul's working classical??

specifically looking for the arrangement of Junk, but would love to know if there's sheet music of ANY of it available. i've found arrangements by others, but i'd love to get my hands on the ACTUAL version released (as i think it's a lot nicer sounding). if not, maybe i'll have to give a shot at transcribing it 🙈

advice for someone looking into the field

i'm 18 years old and do some violin repairs at a music store in my town. i enjoy the hands-on work and have been looking into violin making for a little bit now, but i've recently been having some doubts and was hoping to get a little insight from people in the field.

i enjoy working with my hands and making things, and making quality instruments is something i am definitely interested in, seeing as quality ANYTHING is hard to come by these days. the only thing is, the more i think about it, the more worried i am that i'll end up bored with the work at a certain point.

as i'm sure EVERYONE here is aware, there isn't much market for innovation/creativity when it comes to making/setting up violins which is already something that frustrates me. i feel like at a certain point, you're just making the same instrument over and over again , which would drive me crazy. the same shapes, the same colors, it's not a secret that most things even remotely different are looked down on in the orchestral community. i'm worried i'll get tired of it at a certain point after spending all of the money on tools, school, etc.

is this something you actually encounter, or am i overthinking it?

blood in poop?

when i walk my dog she usually poops more than once, the first time it will be normal, but recently the second or third has been diarrhea and has looked like this more than once. at first i thought she was just having a weird day, but now i'm worried something more serious is going on. not sure what that yellow blob is in the first picture, and i can't tell if the reddish color is blood or not. i'm trying to get her into the vet, but any ideas what this could be/what i should do for now??

beginner joint pain

I just finished w1d2 (did day 1 on monday), i'm trying to keep a consistent schedule so i stay on top of this so i decided to run today despite having joint pain from monday, but i'm just trying to figure out is it normal to have knee and ankle pain when starting?? i will say, i just kind of jumped straight into this monday without much pre-planning, i didn't do a week of pre-training or anything and i didn't stretch monday (but did today which i think helped). i am pretty inactive and jumped right into 2 miles (and i live in a somewhat hilly area), am i doing too much for a beginner?? or is this just beginning pains that i should push through?? not totally sure what the right call is here

so i (18) have SEVERE medical anxiety, and i think i may have vaginismus because i've never even been able to get a tampon in and even the IDEA of any kind of penetration makes me extremely anxious and upset. i feel like my endo symptoms get worse with every period, but i'm terrified of pursuing a diagnosis because of these things. on top of endo symptoms, i have a family history of uterine cancer so even if i decided not to pursue a diagnosis/treatment i would still eventually need to visit the gynocologist at some point, but the thought of any kind of pelvic/vaginal exam scares me to the point of tears. what can i do in this situation? numbing?? sedation?? ANYTHING?? because i genuinely don't see any way i can get through a vaginal exam without anything. i have a diagnosed anxiety disorder, is this the kind of thing i could get a doctor's (psychiatrist's) note for?? would they even DO a vaginal exam with an semi-conscious/unconscious patient??
