As a hotline Miami and Dexter fan I think this is a really interesting debate because both of them kill bad people but for very different reasons

Jacket motive is only revenge and grief he doesn't care about what they did to other people he cares about what they did to his friend beard

.

Dexter motive is kind of driven by his sick lust for blood and killing and he justifies it by killing bad people (criminals)

.

If they were to be in the same time period what their interaction will be like?

Personally I think if Dexter knew why jacket is killing Russian mobs he wouldn't side with him but he would not kill him also until he kills the whole police station that is the turning point between them I think.

And also they fought who do you think will win?

A lot of people call hotline Miami fans larpers and like call it the most larped game

I even saw a list of the top 10 worst fandoms ever and I saw a hotline Miami at number 9 because "90% of the fandom is larping" and I really think it's because last year in like mid to late 25 that was the time hotline Miami blew up on the tiktok for you page and it did blow up not because of the story but because of the gore and edgy aesthetic of the game like the game was perfect for edgelords and most of the edits using Russian edgy songs made it even worse

Or is it a curse placed on the fandom that the devs put in the first game in the additional level highball and we have to defeat the curse for them to make the third game?
