Why do reps lie so much now?

I've had to reach out 3 times now for a return/refund. They keep saying it's taken care of and will send a janky email as confirmation. Then I find that nothing was opened/issued etc.

Every single issue that involves CS support now results with a load of crap they feed to get you off the phone or chat and it remains unresolved. They are siphoning money off Amazon basically. These people wonder why they get a bad reputation.. if they don't use a scripted quick response as pictured it's some misspelled jargon lol sad
