Once every week or so, after my parents went to bed, you would sneak over and ask me to come to the forest with you…

After we walked so far away we couldn’t see the streetlights anymore, we would start playing this game you came up with… i think it was called ”Feed the Woods” or something weird like that…

Honestly, i’m not even sure you could call it a ”game”… All we did was stand in the forest and scream our lungs out…

One day, after we were finished screaming, you said that you could see something in the field, ran off without me and didn't come back… Since you took the only flashlight, i had to find my way back home in the dark…

Now that I think about it, after that night, you never asked to play that game again…

Although maybe we could play it sometime? We don’t even have to do the screaming part, we could just walk around in the woods together or watch the stars or-
