Beautiful orb weaver, I saved this one that was walking around on the beach near the water after a boat ride... took it home, and now going to put it in my backyard. I have a ton of these spiders already, but the more the merrier!

My mom used to hate these guys, but now I'm forcing her to love them 🥰 they are great pest control and so cool to watch them eat!

Sorry for the pic quality, was just very happy to see one. I love black widows, but we don't really get them around here. I never thought I would see one in my house... I only really get yellow sac spiders, so when I find some other spider, I get excited.

I have found a wolf spider, a Parson's spider, some baby orb weaver and a Zebra jumper in my house, plus this false widow. They all must have wandered in, as we have all of those species outside. I also have to post the giant orb weavers on our shed. There is a LOT.
