Acquired this 08 Jetta 2.5 5MT and I'm really happy with it so far from the engine note to handling. The only things bugging me is the throttle response and lack of higher end power. I have been looking into I.E's intake manifold kit but recently learned the exhaust manifold is also quite restrictive, I'm not necessarily looking for major power gains but more spirited driving with a louder engine note and snappy engine response with some higher rpm to boot. And recommendations would be helpful as I'm still learning about the 07K and what would be best for it as well as to keep it reliable with the modifications done to it.
