In an interview, it was mentioned that Runes are no longer removable, which means Jeane's (or Neaje) role is now purely for upgrading them.

Who are these two people? The second image (the woman seen only from the back) has actually been answered on Discord, but I'm including it here just for fun.

There will be the same character in different rarity tiers, such as Georg Prime's SSR and SR variants. Both seem to be using their Suikoden STAR LEAP version costumes (rather than from other Suikoden games), but they feature different rarities and character portraits/pose. As a result, it seems the gacha character pool will be quite large.

Does anyone own the Blu-ray disc Symphony Poem from Suikoden?
so.. I was looking at the contents of the calendar and there are images that aren't exist in the short 13-second video clip that's widely circulating on the internet. So I suspect the video on the Blu-ray is longer, and I would like to ask for help to check the video in the blu-ray if anyone has it.

According to the Wonder Festival website, one company has obtained a Suikoden 2 license!

Wonder Festival is the biggest garage kit and figure event in Japan (maybe even the world), held twice a year since 1984. This summer's event is happening in Chiba City on July 26, 2026, and the quality is usually top-notch. Swipe to see some Suikoden figures from previous years!

While buying official/licensed Suikoden merch is definitely highly recommended, here are a few reasons why people might choose fan-made alternatives:

1. Official merch can be pretty pricey, not to mention the shipping costs from Japan. Not everyone has that kind of budget.
2. Some might not know how to import from Japan, or just don't want to deal with the hassle.
3. Sometimes, their favorite character or the specific type of merch they want simply isn't available.
4. It allows for more creative freedom.

Usually, official merch comes in the form of acrylic standees. For some reason, they don't really make acrylic blocks, so I decided to test it out using one.

Since acrylic blocks are thick, they can stand independently without a base. The final result turned out quite well, and the price is very affordable.

Aki Shimizu said on X that the Suikoden STAR LEAP manga concludes with a total of 6 volumes.

Lately there's been a lot of buzz about Sony wanting to kill physical discs, but Sony isn't just killing physical discs.

They announced that it will be shutting down the PS Store for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. It will start in some countries this year, then roll out globally in early 2027.

If you still have a PlayStation 3 and you're a huge fan of the Suikoden series, you might want to consider buying the digital versions, just in case you want to play them later or perhaps just for your collection, because there are 4 Suikoden games.
