I named him Croissant. Here’s him falling asleep while watching youtube with me.

And just so nobody worries about this sweet boy, I only hung out with him for an hour or so while I was contacting nearby rehabs (Its been really windy where I am and there have sadly been a lot of babies falling out of nests, so it took a while to find a place that had space) I did end up finding a place that could take him though, and the people there are currently getting him fed and rested so that he can return to the wild once he’s old enough.

Wish him luck!

I’ve made a post like this on a different subreddit, but i think people misunderstood. I’m not looking for nosleep type stuff, i’m looking for books SPECIFICALLY ABOUT being on the internet. There’s a comic called GOREBULL (images 1 and 2) that captures the vibe i’m looking for pretty well. Something surreal and psychological. The game ‘milk inside a bag of milk’ also fits. Themes of mental illness, loneliness, fanfiction, the feeling of constant scrutiny that comes with being online, etc. Thanks in advance!

Already read: Rejection- Tony Tilathimutte (LOVED IT!); penpal, tales from the gas station, the left/right game (not what i’m looking for); the hidden webpage, Things have gotten worse since we last spoke (liked it).

I’m looking for more emotional and psychological based internet horror, rather than the usual dark web/cursed video kind. Preferably touching on topics like fanfiction, parasocial relationships, toxic friend groups/discord servers, grooming, etc.

thanks in advance!

Edit: i’ve already read things have gotten worse since we last spoke, penpal, the left/right game, and the hidden webpage. I also read and LOVED Rejection by Tony Tulathimutte.
