I was pregnant and then I wasn’t and this will haunt me forever💔.

Everything changed in just one day , One moment I was going for my scan, remembering all those little kicks and feeling hopeful about my pregnancy. Then came the bleeding, the stitches, and losing my baby. In a matter of hours, my whole world changed even now, whenever I see a scan, I’m reminded of those little kicks, the feeling of my baby moving inside me, and the future I imagined. something that was once so beautiful now brings so much pain I never imagined that one day could change my life forever I went to the hospital carrying so much hope, and I came home with an emptiness that words can never explain
I miss those kicks,I miss the pregnancy I thought I would have. And I miss the future I had already started dreaming of some days, I still cannot believe that this happened to me , having cervical insufficiency is one of the most heartbreaking things to go through the fear of losing your baby, the uncertainty, and the feeling that your body couldn’t keep your baby safe are so painful❤️‍🩹.

What made you feel safe in your next pregnancy?

After losing your baby in the second trimester due to cervical insufficiency, what gave you the most peace of mind in your next pregnancy? Was it an early preventive cerclage, progesterone, frequent monitoring, a particular doctor, or emotional support? What do you wish you had known before trying again?

Successful next pregnancy after cervical insufficiency at 21 weeks?

My doctor is planning a preventive cerclage early in my next pregnancy, but I can’t stop thinking about what happened last time. I’m scared that even if we do everything differently, I’ll still lose my baby.
If anyone has been through a similar experience especially losing a baby around 20–22 weeks after an emergency cerclage , and then went on to have a successful pregnancy with a preventive cerclage, I would really love to hear your story. I need some hope right now. ❤️

21-week loss after rescue cerclage scared to be pregnant again

I had to have an emergency/rescue cerclage at 21 weeks because my cervix had opened and my membranes were bulging. The cerclage was placed, but shortly after, my water broke and I went into labor. I lost my baby💔
Now I’m thinking about trying to get pregnant again, and honestly, I’m terrified.
The thought of getting another cerclage scares me so much. I keep thinking , What if it fails again? What if I get an infection? What if something goes wrong? What if my cervix opens again? What if I go through all of this and still don’t get to bring my baby home?
I know a preventive cerclage early in pregnancy is very different from the emergency cerclage I had, but my past loss makes it so hard not to be scared.
For anyone who has been through a similar loss and then had a preventive cerclage in a later pregnancy, how did you cope with the fear? What was your experience like?
I’m really looking for reassurance, experiences, and hope from people who understand

21-week pregnancy loss after emergency cerclage — looking for advice for my next pregnancy❤️‍🩹.

I was 21 weeks pregnant when my cervix unexpectedly opened. The doctors performed an emergency cervical cerclage to try to close and support the cervix. At the time, the membranes were intact and the baby had a heartbeat. Unfortunately, a few hours later I developed strong abdominal pain and heavy bleeding, then my waters broke. Despite the emergency treatment, the baby was delivered and sadly passed away
