Hey all,

Me being a complete rookie trusted chatgpt, kinda effed up my fenders and created way more work for myself.

I asked it to give me the easiest way to remove old paint from a motorcycle fender (which it did) and it told me to sand blast it back to bare metal. So I had them blasted today and boy was I shocked when it came out looking the way it did hahaha

I don't even know why I expected it to look the way i wanted it too.

So now my question is are these salvageable and how can I get them to the same finish as my tank? It doesn't have to be mirror finish, just smooth and slightly shiny.

Or am I better off just taking the loss and getting them painted and be done with it..
