AITAH if I start talking to/dating a guy my best friend has a crush on?
So there's this guy who had a crush on me in the past, but I wasn't interested at the time. He ended up getting a girlfriend, and honestly, we were never that close to begin with — like, dating or hooking up was never really on the table back then.
Recently I reconnected with our old friend group, and my best friend and I have been hanging out with him in group settings. Somewhere along the way, she developed a pretty big crush on him. But last week, he was the one flirting with me — asking personal questions like whether I think I'm ready to date again and if I'm over my ex.
Now I'm stuck wondering: would I be the AH if I let things develop with him, whether that's dating or just hooking up? Or should I just shut it down completely and leave him for my best friend, since she's into him?
