i've only had shrimp 2 times in my life that i enjoyed the texture. it was similar to eating chicken and had pretty much no bite at all, but most shrimp i eat has some sort of crunch to it and feels super fatty.

It had gold platting on the metal but it's long since chipped off, rubbing my face green, and is a super rough texture.
I have some spray paint that's meant for outdoor decor and is water proof, but is there a way to completely remove the remaining platting and smooth out the texture? Is there a specific spray paint I should use to replace the platting?
