Is this allowed?

I came across this at a Lapidary. Big water basin with hoses, etc. Surely there is some sort of compliancy issue with this? I can't find any exemptions in AS3000 that would allow this. Even being IP rated isn't enough.

I don't particularly care. It's not like I'm calling ESV on these guys. I'm just curious if I'm missing something?

Hey all,

I hope this is the right place to ask.....

I have an Abarth 595. A the moment it has an aftermarket intake, which means only the PCV is connected. The recirc valve is currently venting to atmosphere. I hate the constant whoosh and psssht noises because I'm and old man now.

I was wondering if I could plumb the recirc back into the intake by adding a Y joiner to the PCV hose? At the moment, the outlet for the recirc is 25mm and the PCV is 16mm. If I got a 25mm Y joiner, ran a 25mm hose from recirc to Y joiner, 16mm hose from PCV to Y joiner, and then a 25mm hose from the Y joiner to the intake. Of course this means I would have to make the intake side 25mm too. I'll draw a pic and attach it later.

Can anyone see an issue with this? Gemini says I'll pressurise the PCV, but I don't see how if they are both entering the Y pipe on the same angle.

Ideally, I would run a 25mm hose from the recirc straight into the intake pipe, but there is very little space to do so, and this would save a tonne of time.
