I'm getting screen flickering on my laptop whenever I:

• Start/use the camera or mic in Google Meet
• Open OBS Studio
• Start camera capture in OBS

Specs:

• Fedora 44 Workstation
• GNOME 50.4
• Wayland / Mutter
• Kernel 7.1.7-200.fc44
• Intel i5-1235U
• Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics
• 8GB RAM
• 1920×1080 60Hz
• HP Laptop 15s-fq5xxx

OBS camera itself seems to work fine through PipeWire:

Format: YUY2
Resolution: 640x480
FPS: 30
State: streaming
Error: none

Has anyone experienced this with Intel Iris Xe + Fedora/GNOME/Wayland?

Any idea what could be causing the flickering or what I should check?

I'm using Fedora 44 + Niri + DMS v1.5.2.

I'm having a few issues with wallpapers:

- Whenever I apply a wallpaper, it automatically becomes blurred, even though I expect it to display normally.

- If I set "blurredWallpaperLayer" and "blurWallpaperOnOverview" to "false", the wallpaper disappears and the entire background becomes black instead of showing the wallpaper.

- Initially, DMS didn't start automatically after login, so the desktop would be blank until I manually ran:

dms run

I've now configured DMS to start automatically, so that issue is fixed. However, the wallpaper blur/black background issue still remains.

I also get this warning:

«"Quickshell was built against Qt 6.10.3 but the system has updated to Qt 6.10.2."»

Has anyone experienced this? Is this a known DMS bug, a Quickshell/Qt compatibility issue, or is there a fix?
