On the verge of leaving citibike, but..
can't we do something to make the system better? It really irks me to have to buy a bike and make it such an inconvenience to have to lock it, store it, take it back home on nights out, etc.. when citibike could make the system SO much better by just doing their job?
Bikes should be available at stations and docks should be available at stations. Period. Yes there could be exceptions once in a while, but it shouldn't be the norm.
Bikes and docks should be 99% functional. No more bikes stuck in docks, no more broken brakes, no more inactive e-bikes.
Just these two things would make the system SO much better.
Why do they just not care? What can we do to make it better?
They have no competitors like other cities do in this space (lime, e-scooters, etc.).. so what power do we have to make them care about making it better?
