Dirtiest parks in Lakewood or surrounding areas?

I have some time off work and I have been filling it by picking up trash in parks. What are some parks in Lakewood that need some tlc? I’ll do it almost anywhere, but if it is an active homeless encampment I’d rather avoid it for my safety. Thanks!

When to call it quits

I am on the Camino about to get into Logroño. To be honest, it hasn’t been the experience I hoped for. I have found the hiking to be a bit boring and I haven’t connected with people as well as I thought I would. I still have time and money to go explore elsewhere in Europe and I’m considering doing that instead. At what point is it fair to say that I gave it an honest effort?

Two routes leaving St Jean tomorrow

Hello all! I start my Camino tomorrow from St. Jean. The woman at the passport office said that the “official” route going over the mountain was more dangerous than the other route following the highway. Is the normal route over the mountain safe at this time of year? Would I be better off doing the other route? Buen Camino!

Last questions

Hello all, I am doing the Camino Frances very soon, I leave in 2 days. I have a few final questions before I go
Will I be rushing to get a bed doing the entire Camino Frances starting late August?
Should I bring a headlamp?
Any albergues to avoid?
Thanks all! Buen Camino

Merino wool underwear?

Slightly awkward question, but to the guys out there, what kind of boxer briefs are best for the Camino? Is getting merino wool a good idea or will other materials be better? I leave for my Camino in a few weeks!

Stuff to do on the weekend?

Hey all, I’m going to be visiting your town this weekend for a birthday trip (yes I know Pueblo is a strange choice but it’s the only decent sized city in Colorado I haven’t been to). Any fun recommendations for stuff to do in and around Pueblo this weekend? I like hiking, sightseeing, history, museums, drinking, etc. will the smoke be a big problem? Thanks!
