CV for Top 100 US/UK PhD in MatSciEngg or Bio(Med)Engg for Fall 2027

I'm a final year (senior) at a Tier-2 Govt. Uni. in India, with over three years of undergraduate research experience and two international gold-project awards.

Since I'm a first-gen international grad applicant, looking for honest advice on whether the profile is competitive enough for Top-100 US or UK PhD in the fields as I intend to pursue research in biomaterials. Would be needing funding through scholarships or external fundings.

Honest reviews and suggestions are welcome, please be kind.

(Under prep I've a research and review first-author manuscript I can get as a pre-print before application deadline)

Any confirmation of receipt mail?

For research students from India, has any one of you received a confirmation email from the embassy on your application mail?
