I don’t know why, but I’ve always had maternal instincts for these little guys. When crafting storylines in my mind, I like to imagine that I offer my breast milk to players as an incentive for good performances. And when my players do well, I call them into my office so they can have some privacy while they are fed. Every new signing is essentially the start of a new child’s life, so they must remain on the bench for a few months (regardless of ratings) until they have matured enough for me to release them onto the pitch. While, the youth academy is my womb, where the fetus (youth talent) is developing. And yes, as the title says, I do make my squad refer to me as “Mama” when setting up my save, in order to maximize my immersion levels.
Unfortunately, this makes selling players extremely challenging, as I feel an unbearable pain when parting ways with my child. This often puts my club into financial trouble, as I have to make many poor decisions when renewing contracts simply so a player does not leave my club.
So yeah, does anybody else do this? Or something similar? Like making their players call them “Dada” instead?
This is a recreation of it if you couldn’t tell
