Gentle cleanser that removes SPF in one wash?

Looking for a very gentle, non-stripping cleanser that can remove daily SPF in one cleanse. My skin is extremely sensitive/dry, so I’m trying to avoid double cleansing.
I’m considering The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser. Has anyone with sensitive, rosacea prone skin used it as their only cleanser? Does it remove SPF well without leaving your skin dry or tight?
Would love other recommendations too!

I have rosacea type 1 . My skin gets red , hot and burns .

Flushing

Has anyone with a very reactive nervous system and flushing tried a beta blocker like propranolol and/or a neuromodulator like gabapentin or pregabalin?

I’ve flushed easily from nervousness since I was little, but recently it’s gotten much worse after damaging my skin barrier and developing some rosacea. Has anyone found that either of these medications, or a combination, helped with flushing or burning? I’d love to hear your experiences.

What Has Helped Your Severe Facial Flushing the Most?

For those of you who struggle with severe facial flushing/blushing, what has helped you the most? I’m especially interested in hearing about medications (including off-label medications), but I’d also love to hear about anything else that has made a real difference—treatments, lifestyle changes, supplements, procedures, etc. If you’ve tried multiple things, I’d really appreciate knowing what actually worked for you versus what didn’t. I’m trying to get an idea of what options are worth discussing with my doctor.

Type 1 / flushing rosacea — what actually worked for you?

I recently went to a dermatologist and was diagnosed with type 1/flushing rosacea. My main problem is that my face flushes very easily, feels hot, and burns sometimes even when I’m not visibly red.
Right now, I’m trying to simplify everything and figure out a basic hydrating routine that my skin can actually tolerate. I’ve decided to take a short break from sunscreen while I figure out the hydration part, while avoiding direct sun as much as possible.
If you have flushing rosacea, especially if you’ve been in a similar situation with constant heat/burning, what products or hydration methods actually worked for you without causing flushing or an episode hours later?

For those taking clonidine or propranolol for severe facial flushing — what type of doctor prescribed it?

I’m trying to find a doctor who is knowledgeable about severe flushing/possible neurogenic rosacea. My main symptoms are intense facial flushing, heat and burning,
I’ve read that some people with rosacea/flushing have been prescribed clonidine or propranolol, but I’m having trouble figuring out which type of doctor I should see for this.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why I wake up with flushed cheeks. Rosacea sucks

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why I wake up with flushed cheeks.
I wake up with one or both cheeks extremely red, hot, and burning. The sensation feels deep, almost like the heat is coming from underneath the skin rather than just surface irritation. 😭
It can happen on both sides of my face, but sometimes, like today, it’s only one cheek. What’s especially frustrating is that even after the redness starts to fade, I’m left with a burning/hot sensation that can last for several hours.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of intense flushing, especially first thing in the morning? Have any of you figured out what triggers your episodes or, more importantly, what actually helps calm them down?
I would really appreciate hearing what has worked for you because I’m struggling to figure this out.

Vbeam vs Cutera Excel V , which worked better for you?

I know there are probably a million posts asking the same thing, but I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have actually had one or both of these lasers.
My current dermatologist only offers Vbeam, so if I ask them which one they recommend, I worry they may naturally favor the laser they have available.
My main issue is flushing and redness. Sometimes I get hot flushes where my face becomes very red, and then it slowly goes back to my normal color. But recently, I’ve started waking up with blotchy redness on my cheeks that seems to be becoming more noticeable.
I’ve also noticed that when I flush now, my cheeks stay red much longer than the rest of my face. Sometimes I get a slight tingling/burning or “spicy” sensation in those areas too. I can see some very tiny vessels/capillaries on my cheeks, especially when I’m flushed.
I’m honestly pretty scared of laser because my skin has been very sensitive, and I’ve tried changing moisturizers, sunscreens, etc. multiple times to see if something was causing the redness, but I haven’t been able to figure it out.

Seeking Insight: Persistent facial redness and irritation

Please read this post; I am looking for some insight.
Months ago, I used tretinoin, and I subsequently developed white bumps around my mouth. I stopped using all active ingredients, and it has now been months without any actives in my routine. However, I have developed a red irritation on my face that just won't leave me in peace.
For example, when I wake up, it can be super angry and red; it feels like a burn or deep irritation. It then settles during the day, as you can see in the comparison photos below.
I’ve been going crazy asking a million questions because I don’t understand what this is. My brain doesn't think it's just standard barrier damage, as nothing stings and I would have expected it to be resolved after all these months. It makes me think that chronic inflammation is at play.
I am very scared of using any kind of medication on my face right now because a triple compound cream burned me really badly and made me so red.
If you have gone through something similar, can you tell me what you think this is? Can rosacea present like this, or does this look familiar to anyone? Any experiences or advice would be appreciated.

Recs for a gentle, "medical-grade" or reliable US cleanser for dry, sensitive skin?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some help finding a new daily cleanser. My skin is on the dry and sensitive side, so I really need something that cleans without stripping my moisture barrier or causing any irritation.
I’m looking to avoid K-beauty cleansers this time around—I’m specifically interested in medical grade or reputable American/Western skincare brands that are easy to pick up at places like Target, Ulta, or a dermatologist's office.
I’m hoping for something that feels effective but gentle. Does anyone have any favorites they’ve been using long-term? I’d love to hear your personal experience with them—specifically if they leave your skin feeling tight or if they actually help keep it hydrated.
Thanks so much in advance!

For those with Rosacea: Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer vs. Dieux Instant Angel—which was more tolerable for you?

I currently use the Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer, but I’m curious about Dieux Instant Angel for my rosacea-prone skin. For those who have experience with one or both, which do you think is better and how has your experience been with them? Also, please feel free to share your own 'holy grail' moisturizer if you prefer something else

Seeking advice for sensitive, reactive skin and persistent breakouts

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out if my skin issues might be rosacea and would love to hear what has worked for you.
I’m currently dealing with:
Red patches whenever I use heavier creams.
Small whiteheads around my mouth and cheeks.
Red, itchy bumps on my lower face.
I used Tretinoin and other actives a few months ago, which caused my skin to become a mess, so I haven't used any actives since then. Has anyone experienced these specific symptoms? If so, what helped calm your skin or cleared up the breakouts? Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated!

Can Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer cause itchy bumps?

Hi everyone, I have dry, rosacea-prone, sensitive skin and have been getting recurring itchy red bumps on my lower face overnight.
I’m strictly fragrance-free and niacinamide-free, so I’m wondering if the Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer could be the trigger. Has anyone experienced this, or does anyone have recommendations for other fragrance/niacinamide-free moisturizers?

Title: Skinbetter Even Tone vs. SkinMedica TNS Advanced+ for rosacea / hyper-sensitive skin?

Has anyone with rosacea or hyper-sensitive skin tried Skinbetter Even Tone or SkinMedica TNS Advanced+?
I’m looking into these for future use once my skin is completely calm (not to treat an active flare). My skin is incredibly reactive to niacinamide, fragrance, and hyaluronic acid.
In general, are either of these considered safe and gentle for rosacea-prone skin? Did they cause any flushing or irritation for you?
Thanks!

If you can’t use retinoids or exfoliating acids because of rosacea, what do you use for anti-aging?

I have very sensitive skin with rosacea, and every retinoid (tretinoin, retinal, retinol) and exfoliating acid seems to irritate my skin. For those in a similar situation, what has actually helped with anti-aging?
I’m looking for options besides retinoids and acids. Have peptides, growth factors, copper peptides, EGF, antioxidants, red light therapy, or anything else made a noticeable difference? I’d love to hear what’s worked for you while keeping your rosacea calm.

Thoughts on Farmacy Clearly Clean, Avene Tolerance Cleanser, and Dieux Instant Angel for ultra-sensitive, rosacea skin?

everyone! I have highly reactive, rosacea-prone skin and I'm terrified of breakouts or rashes. I also strictly avoid fragrance and niacinamide.
I’m considering trying these three specific products in the future (separately, not all in the same routine). I just want to know what people think of them individually:

  1. Farmacy Clearly Clean Balm (the fragrance-free version)
  2. Avène Tolérance Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion
  3. Dieux Instant Angel Moisturizer
If you have sensitive, flare-up-prone skin and have tried any of these, what was your experience? Did they cause any irritation or clogging? Thanks!

Rosacea / Hopes

I have been going through so much redness and dryness . I don’t know what to do . Heavy moisturizer feels so heavy and trap heat during the night and light ones do not provide hydration enough , I feel my face bone dry and red. Please tell me this gets better , I need hopes right now because I’m going crazy . I want to fix my skin barrier but I can’t even do that or use topical treatments . I’m hiding inside my house because I can’t apply SPF, it will be complicated to removed it later without making my dryness worst .

The Avène Tolérance Control Soothing Skin

Hey everyone, I need some honest opinions on this Avène cream I’ve used Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer for years, but lately I’ve been getting tiny whiteheads. I don’t know for sure if the Vanicream is causing them, but I’m changing both my moisturizer and my face wash just to rule them out.
I’m honestly terrified to try something new because my skin is so sensitive, but I feel completely out of options. For those who have tried Avène, what was your experience? Did it cause any breakouts or irritation?

Face wash for sensitive dry skin

I have been using the Vanicream cleanser for years, but recently my skin has been getting very dry after using it. I currently have sensitive skin, and it feels like the cleanser is too stripping for me. Could you please recommend gentle cleansers that don’t strip the skin or leave it feeling bone dry?

Persistent, itchy red texture + random tiny whiteheads for over a month. Rosacea? Fungal acne? Need help/recommendations!

Hey everyone,
I’m feeling so frustrated and could really use some insight or recommendations if anyone has been through something similar. I’ve been dealing with this specific skin texture for about a month or more now, and I’m completely at a loss for what it could be.
Here are my main symptoms:
The Red Texture & Intense Itching: I have a rough, red bumpy texture that is mostly concentrated on this side of my face (I'm attaching a photo for reference). It is incredibly reactive. It flares up and itches like crazy specifically when I wash my face, put on cream, or basically anytime I touch it.
The Random Whiteheads: On top of the red texture, I’ve also been getting these tiny, little pustules with white tops popping up all over my face. They just come and go constantly. Interestingly, these white ones don't itch at all—but whatever the underlying red texture is, it's constantly irritated.
I'm trying to figure out if this sounds like papulopustular rosacea, fungal acne, or maybe some kind of allergic contact dermatitis/damaged barrier flare-up.
Has anyone experienced a pattern like this where the red bumps itch from being touched, but the tiny whiteheads don't? If you've been through something similar, what did it turn out to be, and what gentle routines or ingredients helped you calm it down? I really have no idea what it is at this point.
Thank you so much in advance!
