Is there an ebook version of at the world’s mercy?

What the question says. Is there a digital version of At the World’s Mercy by Ning Yuan? The physical copy is a little hard to get a hold of. Some websites say there’s a digital version but I can’t find a way to access it for purchase. Please help me out a bit.

Zhong Michu is honestly really funny

I am reading jian long or The Dragon and honestly, Zhong Michu is really funny in volume two. The way she learned how to act wronged for pity is really cute and the way her grandfather said “you have to have an heir or you can’t be the dragon king” so she went “okay. I quit 🤷” was just so good 😭

I liked her in volume one but volume two is just such even better. She might be my favorite character of this baihe

Solsah.. I’ve Missed You

I’m so sorry I’m still reading part one and the fact that Kim Soleum appeared as a cat and Baek Saheon recognized him instantly no questions asked is killing me. He even sees a halo thingy with his magic eye that humans can’t have and instead of coming to the conclusion that it was some unrelated supernatural entity.. he came to the conclusion that Kim Soleum was just a supernatural entity from the start.

TOP TIER solsah content right there Saheon literally said, “I know what your soul is. And this? Yeah, it’s you.”😭

Am I the only one who thinks being grossed out by omegaverse is a little weird?

Keep in mind I am only talking abt the english speaking fandom because it’s not my place to speak about any other part of the community! But anyway, I’ve seen certain people here getting really weird about omegaverse when it’s mostly just… men giving birth. I have problems with omegaverse but men giving birth is definitely not part of it😭

It makes me confused because these people already reject gender standards and heteronormativity by reading about gay people… so why can’t you reject gender stereotypes even further? I can imagine trans people being hurt by the hatred and just being seen as a “fetish”

I’m not saying everyone needs to be an omegaverse fan, I just think you should examine yourself and your actual views on the lgbt community.

EDIT: y’all are misunderstanding my post I’m talking about people going “ewww omegaverse is gross because men giving birth is gross” that’s IT. I’m not saying you have to LIKE IT. I just think it’s weird since like. Imagine a gay relationship where one is a trans guy and wants to give birth. Is that a “fetish” to you? It’s basically the same thing. But whatever, my fault for thinking people read BL with a critical eye LMAO

EDIT 2: I do think some people are bringing up good posts that omegaverse can perpetuate heteronormativity and I kind of regret dismissing some comments… but like I don’t think this is specific to omegaverse. I think any piece of gay media can accidentally fall into heteronormative stereotypes. The only difference is that omegaverse has mpreg. And this post is only focusing on ppl being weird abt mpreg, because that’s what I’ve seen irl.

Larien Miller… (minor spoiler for desire me if you can)

I’m reading a translation of desire me if you can and nobody told me that Chase and Grayson have a polyam lesbian sister with 9 wives who is also on most wanted😭???

I would love a book on her but sadly I don’t think this author writes gl 😔

If there’s any information or fun facts about her let me know.

Is Anyone Else Genuinely Obsessed with Baek Saheon

I normally don’t read web novels with no romance, but Baek Saheon’s introduction was so genuinely perfect I decided to read a bunch of gsgw just for content of him.

I read about 100 chapters then dropped the webnovel for several months. recently, I saw that the novel got turned into a manhwa and so I continued the with over 20 chapters of the novel in that same day!

Gsgw is extremely engaging with complex characters and an intriguing plot but I swear, the amount of happiness I get with Baek Saheon is unparalleled by literally anything else. I actually smile whenever he gets mentioned and I laugh whenever he shows up because I love him. I wonder if he is anyone else’s favorite (besides Kim Soleum’s to torment lmaooo)

How Long do you Think the Volumes will be?

Basically what the title says. How long do you think the volumes of Ruzhui (matrilocal marriage) will be? In terms of chapters, not pages. And how many volumes do you think we will get?

Can You Rec Something Short and Entertaining?

I am posting this in the danmei and baihe subreddit. I just dropped the novel I was reading earlier and need a new book for next week so I have something to read after I finish my finals and am waiting to go home. Can ya’ll recommend a book that is:

- not licensed yet (fan translated)
- relatively short (ideal would be around 50 chapters or so)
- pretty engaging and interesting. Love some slow-paced books but that is not what I’m looking for rn 🙏

Thank ya’ll for anything you give me. I will probably read based what has the most interesting description.

Can You Help Me Find the Novel this Quote is From?

Can you please help me find the novel this quote is from 🙏 I am like 90% sure it is from a danmei. I wrote down the quote but not the title in my notebook 😭

What I wrote was, “Chapter 35: Was there no other word for the love in this world besides ‘suffering’?”

Additionally, I have another quote from the same book (I’m pretty sure), “Chapter 44: The word love is all but a mess of rotten debts.”

If anyone finds it, thank you so much 🙏🙏
