I think West is 100% self aware he cannot be monogamous and has no intention of getting married or committing in a serious enough away that involves monogamy. I think he has long made his peace with that, but his hand was forced to attempt monogamy based on the shitstorm he got himself into, and he does have real feelings for Amanda, so I think he is rolling with it until it naturally meets it’s demise, and then he can at least pat himself on the back that he gave a real college try to the chick that left her husband for him.

My guess is in his perfect world he would have Amanda be his main chick that he can pseudo play house with, and then he would have his freedom to do whatever he wants when she’s not around, ala the arrangement a lot of gay men have with their partners.

I used to have a male friend who 100% knew he could not be monogamous, but enjoyed all the perks of having a gf, so he would tell them day 1 that is how it’s gonna be if they entered a relationship with them. I remember his -now WIFE- was very against this, but continued to date him. So he felt like it gave him free range to cheat on her since she “knew what she was signing up for”. They are still together and married and I assume he periodically cheats on her and is discreet.

i kind of feel like this was somewhat the case with Meija and West, it seems like they had something going for a few years and then when it got more serious he “slowed” down his antics. I feel like that’s also what happened with Chris Brown and Karruche. Him proclaiming that he “slowed everything down” once things got serious with her, rather than stopping all together.

I think Meija did an ignorance is bliss type of thing and didn’t probe West too much, which is why she was pretty oblivious. He probably said the Salley and Mia dates were all PR for the show and she took it as face value.

Don’t get me wrong, West is a piece of shit. I just actually believe that he isn’t promising anyone he’s going to commit or be their boyfriend, and these women need to have better self esteem and not try to “win” or “be the one to change him”

Amanda is the biggest clown to ever be in his entire harem, but i will give West the tiniest piece of credit, i don’t think he is love bombing the way that other guys do with a lot of empty promises. West ain’t promising shit, these girls are feasting off crumbs.
