Arias obviously isn't a superstar. Between 2022-2024, he always struck me as a player that was too good for triple A but not good enough to be a major league player. But I've felt like that has been changing for him.
A lot of his stats are still below average, but they're all trending upwards. Last year he was batting .220 with an OPS of .638, and this year he's batting .221 with an OPS of .671, which isn't a huge difference but hes still showing some signs of improvement.
I wish that he could be more consistent and be more patient at the plate. His amount of strikeouts worries me. But he's obviously got a pretty powerful bat, and I think if he could learn some discipline he'd have at least average numbers, maybe even slightly above?
I don't understand why so many people act like he is the worst baseball player to ever wear a Cleveland uniform lol. He's not the best but he's not terrible?? I feel like he's due for a breakout season. I thought it was gonna be this one before he got injured, but maybe there's still time? I don't know, but i don't think anybody could convince me to give up on him. I still believe in him
