I don’t understand the logic behind access tokens and refresh tokens

i don’t understand the logic behind access and refresh tokens, if access tokens are made short lived for security purposes, doesn’t refresh tokens being long lived defers the whole purpose? or is not as big as an issue since refresh tokens are only stored in http only cookies?

How to take notes without it feeling counter productive and wasting more time

So basically I’ve never really taken notes before as I found it is more counter productive for me. I feel like when i’m taking notes my brain is more focused writing down stuff for LATER rather than actually understanding it NOW. So what’s ends up happening is that I have a bunch of notes but I didn’t actually retain or properly understanding anything. I also find that if i’m not worried about taking notes I’m also better at making connections between class topics.

However I decided to start note taking recently because I’m pre-studying for a course about Operating Systems, and so I want to have something to refer back to once class actually starts. The main way I’ve been taking notes is taking a topic and writing a couple of bullet points about it as I read along.

Has anyone else felt the same way note taking and were you able to overcome it? If so how did you overcome it?

Tips for solving cases

I watched a lot of detective conan as a kid however I was never really able to solve cases along with conan/shinichi. I can usually tell when something is odd like when a trick has been to deceive people but I can never figure out what the actual trick is. Are you any of you able actually able to actually solve the cases along with conan/shinichi? If so do you have any tips?

does anyone find that taking notes during class to be counterproductive?

I feel like when I’m taking notes during class I’m not actually trying to understand and digest the information but rather to just write things down. I find that when I’m listening to a lecture if I had to write notes down it’ll disrupt and make my brain lose focus on taking the information in. So when I do end up taking a lot of notes during a lecture I feel like I never really learned anything in the end and I have to go through everything by myself again. Does anyone else feel like this? If so what other have you tried to help write things that’ll help you review later?

looking for two cases

I haven’t watched conan in YEARS so i can barely remember anything so sry for the lack of details.

The first case from what I can remember is that they were stuck in this like isolated cabin and the reason why they were stuck is because the weather was really bad and I think it had something to do with the fog? also i think it was a relatively early case as well i think

the second one is about vampires, thats all i can remember.

also does anyone have recommendations for like a good comprehensive breakdown of everything canon and the theories?
