Trek: Triund + Snowline, 17th and 18th October. Is camping not allowed on weekends?

hey all,

first solo trek. i was looking at any available camps on the 17th near snowline and contacted one named Himalayan Quest Camp. called him and he told me that camping on triund is banned on the weekends? is this really true?

he first quoted 1500rs per person for the tent and then i told him i'm coming on the weekend. i was looking at the google reviews of this himalayan quest camp and people were talking about how the owner is rude and doesn't want people to come?

should i be staying at Snowline Cafe instead?

please help. appreciate any guidance/advice
